Ways to Participate
Perhaps the greatest phenomenon of this event is that hundreds of people join efforts by contributing countless hours and means to give to Vacaville residents in need. Almost everything is donated to Festival of Trees and everyone working the event is a volunteer!
All trees are decorated and donated by local individuals, businesses, service groups, churches and schools. Others generously donate crafts, baked goods and raffle items to fill the shops. Corporations provide some of our covered trucks and drivers to help deliver the trees.

And, of course, it wouldn't make any sense to showcase such gorgeous trees, crafts, baked goods and raffle prizes if nobody was there to enjoy them! Please come visit us!
Volunteer
Churches, businesses, organizations and individuals are the foundation of the Festival of Trees. It is people working together for a common cause that has made it successful. The Festival relies completely on the efforts of local volunteers and would not be possible without their involvement.
This year we are looking for: entertainment announcers/MCs, Santa's helpers, and people to man the auction table, as well as the crafts, baked goods and raffle shops.

Donate
 Trees
Each year the Festival of Trees presents a forest of beautiful Christmas trees that are auctioned off to the highest bidder. This year will feature 100 uniquely ornamented trees: 50 large trees and 50 mini-trees. All are decorated and donated by local individuals, businesses, service groups, churches and schools.
Unfortunately, space & electricity are limited, so there is an application process for tree donations and, often times, a wait list. If you are interested in donating a tree, please contact: vacavillefot@sbcglobal.net.
Crafts
Our craft shop is always busy and features an assortment of handcrafted treasures, including: toys, Christmas décor, jewelry, baby gifts, kitchen gadgets, quilts/blankets, and much more! Grandparents love our shop and often buy holiday gifts for their grandkids here!
If you're interested in donating your new, handmade treasures, please contact: vacavillefot@sbcglobal.net. Alternatively, you can drop them off at the Festival's craft shop starting the first day of the event.
Baked Goods
Remember those elementary school bake sales? Baking your favorite brownie or cookie with mom … and running to the table after school to make sure you got the first pick? Now is the time to reminisce and create memories with your own children, parents and friends.
Our table is often filled with holiday confections, including fudge, pecan rolls, cupcakes, cookies, caramel apples, monkey bread and divinity. But we can't fill that table without you!

Raffle Items
Are you a local business owner who'd like another way to get your name out to Vacaville … or perhaps you're just feeling generous? Donate your goods & services to our raffle!
Past raffle items have included: car washes, movie tickets, hair/nail/massage services, exercise equipment, dental & orthodontic services, floral arrangements, home cleaning services, furniture, sailing excursions, and Tahoe getaways. Our visitor favorites: the annual holiday-themed cross stitch, quilt by A Quilt at Heart, and the popular Food Tree that is covered with hundreds of dollars worth of restaurant & grocery store gift certificates!
